"Hey Max," I asked "Do you want me to take in those pants for you and make the waist smaller so they fit better?"
"No, they're OK" he said as he hiked them up again.
"But they're falling off of you."
Then he says to me "NO they aren't, if they were falling off of me then I would look LIKE A TEENAGER!"

Quick, get the child a belt before he gets used to baggy pants falling off his butt.
I HATE that look! And even when I explained where it originated to my son and his friends, it didn't deter them. UGH
The child is truly wise beyond his years.
I hope Max is this funny when he is a teenager but with clothes that fit.
Do you think Max would find my new red shoes adorable, too? :)
