Max quotes

Today, as Max was watching his most favorite television station, The Weather channel,* he was dancing around to the cool background music when he accidentally ran into the chair, tripped and fell hard on his knees.
It looked like it really hurt, so I said "Oh no! Are you OK?"
He looked at me very seriously and said.................

"Well, I WAS!"

-----------------------------------------------

Max came home from preschool with a note saying that he was almost ready to pass off his whole alphabet, he just needed to work on a few more letters, and she included a list of 9 letters on the bottom of the paper.
I thought this was strange, because Max has had the entire alphabet and the phonics memorized for over a year.
I asked Max what the letters were and what sound they made, and he answered each one correctly, without hesitation.
I asked him why he didn't say all of these correctly for his teacher, he said,

"Well........my teacher just makes me be shy."

---------------------------------------------

Today I heard Max yell from the bathroom
"Hey! I just figured out that butt cheeks are chubby cheeks!"

-----------------------------------------------

In other news, I think I have figured out the source of my back pain.

Housework.

If I got my doctor to write me a prescription for a maid, do you think my insurance would pay for it?

*Seriously, I don't make this stuff up, he really watches The Weather Channel.

Must be the day to blog about the funny things our youngest children say. I've just done one about Kitcat's comments.

Your last bit, about the doctor writing a prescription for a maid, reminded me of one time I went to the doctor when I was sick with the flu. Kitcat was about 4 months old, and I had 4 children under school age plus the older two. HB was away for 2 months. The doctor looked at me, surrounded by all 6 children, and told me if I wanted to get rid og this flu I would have to stay in bed for 3 whole days and rest.

I looked back at him and said "So are you going to write me a prescription for a babysitter?"

That is hilarious. And so cute that his teacher makes him shy.

My kids watch the weather channel too. They get it from their daddy, who thinks the weather is one of the most entertaining things ever.

Your kids are hilarious. I sort of love Max.

I am glad you have him to bring levity to your day and ours!
On the maid thing, you could try it, if it works let me know.

Yes...I am sure they will. Obama is trying his hardest to get health care for everyone and everything, just like the communists.

Sorry I'm bitchie today

You know, I keep warning people about the dangers of housework, but no one listens to me.

That Max! He kills me you know. And the most amazing part is I know he is even better in real life.
I think your hubby and kids better step it up, before they lose their mother. They wouldn't want that on their souls would they? The death of the mother?

Yeah, let me know how that works out for ya. I might need one too.

And sorry about Chief. She shouldn't be allowed to blog when she has PMS.

Let me know how the Maid Prescription goes for you. If you're able to get one...I'm hitting my Doc up for one too.

I love the one about his butt cheeks. My 3 y-o has recently discovered hers and loves to make them jiggle. Then she asks if mine jiggle too. Sadly, yes, they do.

Well, you really can't find better dancing music than on the weather channel.

Max should have his own network sitcom.

I can't wait til my nephew starts saying stuff like this. I still say things like that unintentionally half the time. LOL

I so needed to hear some Maxisms today! Could really use a maid too (and a personal trainer, chauffeur, masseuse, nanny...). Let me know if you get the doctor to approve it!

What are you gonna do when he gets old enough to not be so dang cute anymore? LOL!

I had a friend who got the insurance company to pay for a SWIMMING POOL because his back injury required water rehab therapy and there wasn't a place to do it within 75 miles of his home. FOR REAL! So that maid thing? .. ummmm... GO FOR IT!!
