That's my girl!

Quote for the day, by Brielle, age 10.

"Shopping is good for you!
It makes you healthy, because it's like exercise.
You pick things up and carry them.
You do a lot of walking.

Shopping is a good thing."

(Might I also mention the cardio workout you can get if you are foolish enough to take a toddler shopping with you.)

They should develop this at the gym..."Shop-aerobics" woo hoo!

What I should say: That's great! What a fabulous daughter inventing reasons to explain to your DH why it's a necessity to shop!

What I'm really thinking:Is it un-woman-like to admit that I hate shopping and any potential health gains from the "shop-aerobics" is completely offset by the fact that I can never find anything that fits and end up leaving feeling kin to a cow and that I would rather have bamboo shoved under my fingernails than do any form of shopping particularly with a toddler?

That's great-yea-an

Ignore that last pseudo senses.

Even talking about shopping gives me twitches.

Yeah, I'm not a big shopper either, but if it also counted for exercise I might be more willing to try.

There must be a girls conspiracy because my daughter recites almost the same thing! And unfortunately, I buy into it sometimes:/

Of course, if there's a big sale going on, then it's more like a mixed martial arts cage fight!

Love it! The lady who checks cards at the door at Costco laughs everytime I come in with my four in tow... all under the age of five. She always says, "Good luck!" Trust me, she KNOWS my kiddos & trust me, I get my workout. ;o)
