Nutrition is SO overrated

Overheard yesterday at the Rec center.........

Mom #1: "I must really save a lot of money on food."

Mom #2: "Why do you say that?"

Mom #1: "Because I'm really thin and I don't eat very much."

Mom #2: "Oh, I don't eat much either, in fact, I don't really like to eat. My husband really likes to eat, and it drives me crazy."

I'm thinking these ladies have never heard of chocolate.

Sheesh! Stupid people indeed. Perfect label for that post.

Who doesn't like to eat?

Idiots.

No, food's not a sore topic for me. Why do you ask?

How about chocolate covered bacon? That's what my post is about today. I'm still undecided on it.

I think had I overheard that conversation, I would have busted out in laughter! What? What a weird thing to say!

I am thinking these women need an intervention. Neither one of them must have children. Children make chocolate and eating necessary!
Did I just admit too much? Maybe it is just me.

Doesn't really like to eat?! Who every heard of such a thing? Unfortunately, I like to eat enough for all three of us! LOL

:snort:

Was that for real or did you, you know, make that up just to get lots of outraged comments?

btw - I love the title of your blog.

I'm thinking these ladies are lying to safe face with each other. Was that rude??

Hi. Raisins aside I really would like to see these women's fridges? And what their husbands eat. That really is a weird thing to say. But funny, too.

I couldn't survive without chocolate.

and food.

Wow - this is not a conversation I would ever be part of!

Are you serious? That is BIZARRE! I think I would have asked them how they stay alive. Or at least would have made SOME sarcastic remark that would, of course, have come to me on the spur of the moment. SO WEIRD. I've never known anyone to be embarrassed to admit that they eat occasionally.

Now that you mention it, I might save quite a bit if I ever stuck to a real diet. But, alas, I like food. Love it, really.

they are missing out! Why would one not like to eat? It brings me such great joy!
Almost as much joy as staying in my pj all day!

That's hilarious. Three cheers to you for being at the rec center in the first place. I've got the chocolate part done, just not the exercise part yet. I'm working on that. This is my first visit to your blog (through LDS women bloggers list) and it was fun to read several of your entries. I'll be back.

p.s. This explains why I'm over budget every month.

Are these women for real? That kind of talk just does nothing for me. I'm ALL about good food and at the top of the list. . CHOCOLATE!

Must have it! Don't care if I spend a lot on it. I'm determined my existence will end without it.

OH cool! I didn't know that Romy and Michelle lived near you! Just watched that movie last week and was wondering what ever happened after their HS reunion! LOL!!

Hey, I left you something over at my house, because you make me laugh and that's enough!

Too bad I like to waste money on stuff like food. Crazy people.
