Not. Even. Close.
This delicious looking treat is actually tuna fish with blue food coloring.
Aaron made it. He put it on a sandwich.
And he ate it.
Now in answer to the next question that I know that you're just dying to ask....................
I DON'T KNOW WHY!!!!

Wow, I love me some tuna, but that makes me want to throw up.
So, those are pickle chunks?
(totally thought they were nuts or fruit...)
nahsty!
kids....
I'm having a hard time stomaching just the thought. Ugggh.
(fun game, though!)
If the kid ate it....so what if it was greenish/bluish?
I just threw up a little in my mouth. I love tuna but this will forever haunt me!!
Ohmygosh. That's hysterical. Gross, but hysterical. I can't eat food if its the wrong color. Remember that ketchup Heinz came out with a while back that was funny colors? Couldn't do that at all. And don't even get me started on purple and green cauliflower...
The texture looks all wrong. Weird. But now I want tuna. But not green.
wow! i never would have guessed.
Oh, now I'm really kicking myself. I saw that picture and thought it must be tuna, but didn't comment (bad, bad Lisa!!) and here I find out I was right! Ha! Now I am repenting for not commenting on your blog so often. I'll change my ways. . .
Thanks. He's totally helping my diet today.
It does not even resemble Tuna!!! I love it anything with food coloring makes it more fun to eat when you are a kid.
We used to color our Aurdatch(See my latest post!) all different colors when I was a kid. It was fun to come up with crazy colors.
I want purple tuna.
Your children have unique minds. Their thinking just doesn't go the way the average person's does. Strange child.
If you have the food coloring why not play I say.
I know why he did it.
Because he's a BOY.
That's cool. My DH has been scratching his head over this one for a day now. I can't wait to see his expression when I tell him what it is! He was convinced it was mint chocolate chip ice cream! :)
Not a general fan of Tuna and this just sealed the deal. UGGH!
Um wow, I just... wow.
Um yeah, I missed the guessing contest but I'm grossed out regardless. That child may just want to be on Fear Factor...Oh wait, I think it's cancelled.
My mother always made green cream cheese pinwheel sandwiches and regular tuna salad on green bread for St Patricks Day...also green milk.
We loved it. I have never colored the tuna though...not sure I would want to eat it!
The last time we got green bagels for St Pats "things" "came out" VERY GREEN for days...a little scarey for tots, I will say!
Oh, and no joke, my word verification for this comment is QUESSE (as in an alternate spelling of Queasy)!
