Do you think that canned frosting qualifies as a breakfast food?

Please discuss.

I can't believe you even have to ask this question.

Only if it's chocolate. Otherwise, ooh, gross.

I figure if ice cream counts than frosting should too.

I don't know....uuuummmm....YES!!

I thought canned frosting was it's own food group.

Only when eaten with graham crackers.

Mmmm...Yummy!

I second Kethrim's notion. Only on graham crackers.

Absolutely. It also qualifies as a lunch, dinner and snack food.

I'm with Annette, only if it's chocolate.

Yes. ESPECIALLY if eaten on graham crackers, or even just directly from the tub.

Oh, yes, absolutely. If you're the mom you get to make the rules like that. And you get to decide if no one else gets to eat any of that frosting. Cookie dough is also a balanced meal in itself. Enjoy!

If it is Chocolate and refridgerated, it is just like "fudge"...For breakfast, um, sure go for it!

Anything that goes in my mouth earlier than 11 a.m. qualifies as breakfast food.

WOW that sounded incredibly dirty. Basically, I'm not a morning person and I'm in zombie mode for quite a while, so if I eat breakfast, it's a rare move. It's also rare if I'm able to shower or get out of pj's before 11 a.m. (life of mom).

Mmmm, not for me since I hate frosting (I know, I'm weird), but in a pinch and someone needs to take their vitamins, then yes, it's perfectly acceptable. Especially if washed down with coke.

i googled it. ;)

If you put it on plain poptarts, then YES! Remember Elf? The four food groups are candy, candy canes, candy corns, and syrup!

YES. Any other questions you need answered? I have t play: Calectle: placing any food into any food category or mealtime slot as needed.

Of course it is!

um, gross! The canned stuff doesn't cross my lips. I'm a frosting snob. Don't hate me.

I agree with Annette. And if eaten with graham crackers, (a whole grain) and perhaps a glass of milk, it doesn't seem much different than a bowl of sugar cereal.

Yes definitely! And if it's eaten with pretzels (yummy) than it's considered a healthy breakfast. ;o)

Damama T said...

Absoltely YES! Why on earth would you even need to ask, woman?

Only if it's on the cake - you need the flour and eggs to help balance out the milk (LOTS of milk) in the frosting.
