Kitchen quandary

Yesterday I spent a great deal of time deep cleaning my kitchen. I have come to the conclusion that there are only two ways to keep my kitchen clean.

#1. Follow everyone around, cleaning up after them as they go.
#2. Stop cooking and don't ever allow anyone to go into the kitchen again.

eat out

Pretty much, yeah. Freakishly, I know people who do #1. I refuse to live that way. Hence, my kitchen is often ugly. I don't care.

#3 Follow everyone around and insist they clean up after themselves, which more often than not results in #1 anyway because only mothers seem to understand the concept of cleaning up after yourself.

#3 Loud verbal encouragement by you to the persons who mess up the kitchen.

#4 don't have a kitchen in your house at all and eat out for every meal.

I guess since my kids are so little I know if there is a mess on the counters it's either me or my hubby. However they're good at making messes all over teh floor.

Sing It Sister.

Chief is also correct.

I like the second option. Just go out to eat every night.

I like those signs you can get to help you feel better about your less-than-stellar housekeeping abilities. Like the one that says "A messy kitchen is a happy kitchen. Mine is delirious." and "My kitchen was clean last week. Sorry you missed it."
