Shopping :OP

I woke up late this morning (might have had something to do with me hitting the snooze button about 9 times) so I didn't get to the stores early.
There were a few things that I still wanted to get, so I finally got to Wal Mart at about 10:30. The parking lot was only about half full, and the store didn't feel all that crowded (with the exception of around the display where they were selling DVD movies for $2.00)

Everything I went for was so picked over that I didn't buy anything.

I should have slept in longer.

When I got home, Aaron handed me a note with his Christmas list on it. He only wants one thing.

Do you know what a Shark VX3 is?

Is it a really cool remote control car?

No.

Is it a new skateboard?

No.

Is it a bike?

No.

Do you want to know what it is?

This.

Yes, he's serious.

Of course he wants one. Have you ever seen the infomercial? It makes it look so cool!

Buy it for him, and then send him around here with it so he can get good use out of it!

I work at one of our (3) local Walmarts and when I got to work yesterday at noon it was still INSANE!! But it started dying at 2 and we were completely dead by 5. Really made the last 4 hours of my shift torture!

Hey, as long as he's willing to use it daily, I say get him that thing! And if he needs extra practice, send him on over here.

That's a tough one...what to do, what to do?

May I steal him? Don't freak out -- I'm not serious. But I live in the house where as long as I'm going to vacuum sometime this week, it's totally okay to throw it on the floor, right mom?

Right.

For Christmas, I want Aaron.

Tell him if he will promise to use it three times a day, I will buy him three of them if he will come live at my house.
Your kids are "interesting", ahem.

WOW! That is great and so functional! I would hurry and make sure Santa got it for him before he changes his mind and wants something NOT practical or useful!

Requests like this prevent husbands from buying their wives such items for Christmas! Bonus!!

That is a hoot!!!!!

But you know kids, they play with a new toy and then after a few days it gets tossed aside...too bad, your house could have been sparkling clean all the time!
